Phase 1: Design and Engineering — 2 to 5 weeks

This is where the timeline is either protected or quietly wrecked. Design includes the pool shape and depth profile, decking layout, equipment selection, electrical and gas routing, and any retaining walls or grade changes your yard needs. Phase 6: Interior Finish — 1 to 2 weeks

Plaster, pebble, quartz, or tile goes on. Traditional plaster requires careful application, a controlled fill, and then a startup regimen of brushing and chemical balancing that runs 28 days.
